Crunch of gravel, flutter of Union Flag and lock of Lee Enfields..

This song harks back to a better times doesn't it?

  1. Hiya, Last Churcillian!

First off, what is the title of the song you have posted above? As you know, I can't run youtube at home thanks to dial-up internet! But I'm sure this song is a good one, and I just love learning new songs. I know about 67 British folk songs and counting....;-)

Second, I wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Leibster Blog Award. You just have to read over the questions listed on my blog and then answer them either on my blog or yours (or preferably both)! After that, your free to claim the award!

    God Bless,
    Pearl

P.S. Who won the "most influential Briton" survey: Nelson, Wellington, Rhodes, or Churchill?

    1. Well serves me right for being lazy! I haven't been near the keyboard for a few weeks, missed out on a bit I have. Well first up, I don't think Imperial Echoes has lyrics. I might be wrong. Also thankyou for the nomination, I'll be sure to read all about what I missed out on! (Once again punishment for being absent) And finally Churchill was the most influential Briton, with Nelson a close second.
